Black Friday Idiots- Wal-Mart clerk dies from rushing crowd of shoppers
NEW YORK - A Wal-Mart worker was killed Friday after an "out of control" throng of shoppers eager for post-Thanksgiving bargains broke down the doors at a suburban store and knocked him to the ground, police said.
At least four other people, including a woman eight months pregnant, were taken to hospitals for observation or minor injuries, and the store in Valley Stream on Long Island closed for several hours before reopening.

Happy Thanksgiving
I finally departed with Little Red Ride-in-the-Hood. I picked this bicycle up right before I left to Tokyo with the knowledge that I would be moving to San Francisco three days upon my return. This bicycle served its purpose as a good beater bike by withstanding rain, crashes, trips to the grocery store and 25Lb load laundry runs countless times. Unfortunately, it has met its demise. I no longer deem the frame safe to ride on and the components could not keep stand with the efficiency of modern day bicycle technologies. Also, I wanted a bicycle that was reliable enough to be my designated touring bicycle which means it would need to be extremely reliable. I took the rear rack off of the bicycle and left only a note for the next owner. Happy Thanksgiving

France vs. America- Part Three
American Vogue Cover:
French Vogue Cover:
France: 2
America: 1
[rant]I'm done with American Vogue, I think. I'm done with the useless obsessing with celebrities this magazine and almost every other American magazine has to offer. Are you joking me? "What Angelina Did Was Very Uncool." I can hardly even bear watching reality television just because of the I-don't-care-about-somebody-else's-drama factor I have. This material drives me insane. Also, I'm a fan of the photographer Craig McDean. I have always thoroughly enjoyed his work, but this editorial of Jennifer Aniston tarnishes his name and I feel it is an embarrassment. [/end rant]

Obama Street
Taken on the early morning of the fifth of November on Valencia Street in San Francisco, just hours after the election. The street was closed off on both ends by police and the drummers of Dolores Park took to Valencia Street to celebrate. Police were on standby clutching their riot gear and lit with smiles at the same time.

Prop 8 Protest- San Francisco
11/07/08
Naturally, I got there late. I came when others were going but still witnessed those marching for their rights and the rights of others. There was a DJ spinning and people dancing on the corner of 19th and Dolores. I still don't understand the moment for dancing. I don't know how to express the disappointment I feel in regards to this outrageous proposition. Someday, the population will look back on this moment in history and express towards it the current distaste and discomfort we feel when we reminisce on the days of segregation. The same question will come forth: "How did they allow it?" So many times throughout history we have asked ourselves that very same question.

Givenchy Shoes F/W 08-09
I am loving the two on the left and the two on the bottom. Peep the gloss and the suede. I absolutely enjoy the contrast of colors on the shoes with the choice of beige being the prime factor in giving these shoes their delectable edge.

Missing Person in San Francisco!
They were last seen on a fixed gear bicycle wearing flannel and skinny jeans with keys clipped on to the belt loops. This person has "plug" earrings and has tattoos on their arm. Also, the bicycle had cards placed in between the spokes and the person was last heard saying, "I'm vegan", while smoking a cigarette and drinking vodka. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this person they can comment here on this blog.

GQ's How to Buy a Suit
One of my biggest pet peeves is an oversized suit. It evokes a certain emotion of the silly and immature when I see one. It reminds me of my first suit in high school that was for my Entertainment and Tourism class:
Here is a great operation called "Project Update: A GQ Style Intervention" where fashion editor's from GQ collected six men from the streets to refine and advance their style in the most dapper of ways.
